2 Designer Shoes with Jaw-Dropping Potential

If a dog is man’s best friend and, according to Marilyn, diamonds are a girl’s best friend, then the newly single gal’s best friend are going to be designer shoes (you probably thought I was going to say a push-up bra). The reason why is because your confidence takes a hit whether you’ve just gone through a breakup or a divorce. You need to get your confidence back. If you were a housewife, you would probably get vaginal rejuvenation surgery (there are two of them who have done that post-divorce). But there is a much cheaper and less invasive way to get your confidence back, and that’s through your shoes.

We all love this moment—you run into your friend or co-worker, they gasp, their jaw hits the floor, and they ask “Where did you get that?” Oh, the elation you feel at that moment! It feels so good to have those moments. But even better than that is to go out on a date and have a man say, “I love those shoes.” If a man (a straight man) is noticing your shoes, you know that they are hot! There is a way to have these jaw-dropping moments, and it does not involve contacting adoption agencies to see if Christian Louboutin is looking to adopt a full-grown child.

Jaw-Dropping Designer Shoes

If you had to get two pairs of jaw-dropping shoes to buy, they should be a pair of non-everyday high heels and a pair of boots. An everyday high heel would be the basic, classic black or brown high heel you could wear with almost any outfit. Now, you might be thinking, “I’ll get my money’s worth if I buy classic high heels that I can wear every day.” While that may be partially true, remember that the goal is not to get your money’s worth in the traditional sense but to make as many jaws drop as possible.

So when you are deciding to splurge or bargain shop for those designer heels, you want something with a pop. You want an unusual shape, color, pattern, or height. You need something that is going to elicit a gasp from a coworker and make your date take notice of your shoes. There is a reason why the author Nana Malone includes in her Stiletto romance series a pair of gold Christian Louboutin shoes  that bring love and luck to every friend who puts them on (the book series is like The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants but with a pair of high heels).

Jaw-Dropping Designer Boots

For the second pair of jaw-dropping designer shoes, you need to do some personal shopping for a pair of boots. In Jacque Strafford’s book, The Wow Factor, she writes that the way to look wealthy or Chi-Chi is with a pair of boots. I completely agree with this. Also, personal shopping for a pair of boots can be like shopping for an investment; if you take care of them, they will last a long time.

While personal shopping for a pair of boots, remember to get the boots in a classic style so that you can get maximum wear from them. A pair of designer boots is always going to get you compliments from other women, and you can dress them up to make them sexy for dates. I would recommend a knee-high style in either a low-heel riding boot, a wedge boot, or a high-heel boot. Either way, the knee-high style is classic.

A pair of non-everyday designer high heels and a pair of everyday designer knee-high boots will add some jaw-dropping potential to your wardrobe and get you a boost of confidence when you need it the most.
